With Memorial Day having just ushered in the official beginning of Summer, if you haven’t yet planned your summer vacation to Maui, what are you waiting for!?!? To help you get started, we have decided to give you a few quick tips on planning your perfect Hawaiian vacation:
1. Book Now!
While you should weigh your options just a bit as far as what Wailea condo rental would work best for you and your family, which airline has the best offers, and what car rental places have the best deal on the type of car you want to drive while on Maui, don’t delay too much longer to book your vacation as rates and availability may not be as favorable in a few weeks, or even a few days, as they are right now!
2. Weigh your (luggage) options
With many airlines in a constant state of belt tightening, check your airlines luggage limits and pack accordingly. When in doubt, pack lights, as the essentials (clothes, toiletries, etc) can all be purchased at the local big box stores. Another plus to packing light: less stuff in your baggage on arrival means more room for souvenirs in your baggage on the way back!
3. Watch your back (at the airport)
Another pre-flight tip; as the automated voice says repeatedly while entering, waiting in line, and even in the restroom of the airport “keep an eye on your belongings at all times.” As with many other areas throughout the country, despite heightened security, thieves still manage to make their rounds around the nations many airports. So listen to that voice just above your head and keep an eye on your luggage and valuables at all times, and be aware of your surroundings to ensure you make it to your Wailea vacation condo with all your important items fully intact.
