Staying in one of our South Maui condo rentals is one of the best ways to vacation on Maui. The wide selection of sandy beaches, restaurants, and shopping make our spacious, fully stocked vacation condos in Kihei and Wailea a great choice for any Maui vacation. However, our guest often venture to West Maui for at least one day during their visit because historic Lahaina and the lush West Maui Mountains have a lot to offer our Maui visitors.
Walking along Front Street is a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. There are dozens of interesting local boutiques for window shoppers. There are street vendors, museums, and art galleries. If you are looking for something more exciting, check out the ATV tour at Kahoma Ranch.
The tour includes two tour guides providing information on local flora, both wild and cultivated, as well as stunning views of Lanai and West Maui from nearly 2000 feet above sea level. All the vehicles, Polaris Rangers, have three seats, which means that adults can take turns driving and children (ages 5 and up) can ride along safely. Lunch is not provided, but snacks and cold beverages are available. There are three tours daily. The earliest tour, at 8am, does not include the waterslide portion of the excursion. The 11am and 2pm tours are about an hour and a half and include at trip to the waterslides which are sure to be a hit with the kids.
