But for those of you planning your first trip to the Hawaiian Islands or if you are just someone who likes to stay up to date about all things Hawaii related, then you’ll be delighted to know that Maui topped the 2019 Travelers’ Choice Awards.
This well-known online traveler’s forum listed our beloved Valley Isle as the #2 Top United States destination. Can you believe it? We can! With our stretches of beautiful white sand beaches, epic surf, amazing food, tropical gardens, outdoor adventures, really what’s not to love? Our thoughts exactly.
So what parts of Maui stood out the most? Included in the list, Kaanapali Beach located on West Maui, took the #2 spot for the best beach in the US and #14 for the world. Lahaina Grill made #9 and Mama’s Fish house #23 for best fine dining in the US. The Maui Ocean Center in Maalaea made #8 for Top 10 Aquariums in the WORLD!!
How cool is that?! We’re so proud of our little island home and so thankful that other people can appreciate the joy and beauty found only here. Other places in Hawaii that received accolades include Hapuna Beach State Recreation Area in Puako and Poipu Beach Park on Hawaii Island, Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Maniniowali Beach in Kailua-Kona on Hawaii Island, and our very own Napili Beach in West Maui.
